Our Special Programs & Resources

The Jill Herskovitz Dinner Program

Dinner is delivered to the parent lounge in the NICU so parents can eat near their child and have an opportunity to speak with TLC members. This program was named in memory of long time NICU social worker, Jill Herskovitz.

Music Therapy

Accompanied by a certified music therapist, parents can sing, hum, or speak to their child while being recorded onto a CD. With the cooperation of Child Life, the TLC arranges for equipment and funding.

Team TLC

Team of volunteers that partake in marathons, biathlons, walk-a-thons, and other events designed to raise money and awareness.

Enhanced Quality of Life

Placement of gliders, sleeper chairs, CPR dolls, etc.

Outreach Network

Several trained TLC members are available to speak with parents. The TLC attempts to match them with members whose children may have experienced similar issues, including loss and bereavement.

Capital Equipment

Underwriting of medical device acquisitions.

Transportation Fund

Provides subsidies for parents who do not have a way to get to the NICU after hours or in an emergency.
