It was a fun filled snow making afternoon (without the actual snow) in the North Shore Manhasset NICU Family Room on Saturday, December 20th. There was hot chocolate, homemade holiday chocolates, and even chocolate covered Oreos made by Shari Scott, TLC volunteer and lead project coordinator.
Parents who had babies in the NICU attended had an opportunity to relax and build an edible snowman and chat with the two former NICU parents. Other holiday crafts were also available for the parents to make.
Holiday gift bags were brought for the families in the NICU and were also distributed by the NICU staff.
We wish you all a Happy and a Healthy New Year. Our prayers are with you all as you make your journey through the NICU.
